Trees!! Save Them!!

Setting the mood.

Anyways, the story goes like this.

I was watching Waterloo Road and saw Mika (is that how you spell her name? or am I just thinking of the singer?) protesting against her school to stop them knocking down the trees and I felt very inspired.

And then it got me thinking, "I love trees".

Do you love trees?

Without them we would be dead.

So you should.

If not, I'm not one to judge, but you must be fairly ignorant.

Tree huggers would be lost without them. And probably very bored. And depressed, And out of a job? Maybe they do it for free anyway... That makes more sense actually.

What would kids have to climb up, get stuck up, fall off ect.?

And how would we cope without shade in the summer?

(Fairly well if you wanted a tan, haha boom boom)

And experts on trees, where would they be?? Makeing fake trees??

Actually none of these people would BE here at all, if it wasn't for trees. None of us would be. Only fish. You wanna be a fish??? Don't answer that actualy, because I know some of you out there would like to be a fish. (My friend does. I have strange friends.)

My point is ....

Well, this doesn't happen very often, infact it never has until now so I guess you could call it rare.

I am dedicating this blog to a girl called Millie, who definatly deserves this space.

Over the past few weeks I feel like I have really got to know you, and feel like I helped you and shown that I'm not just a joke but I can do all this heart-to-heart shit when I really care. You're really funny and truly amazing... I love you !! Also feel kinda chuffed you listen to Flyleaf lol, they are pretty immence after all [=.

I read the note you wrote about me on live spaces and think it's really sweet... thank you !

All the things we talked about (you know.. I'm not gunna broadcast it) has helped me move on and let go of last year, so I thank you for that as you have also helped me without realising it.

Right. This time I have been uber-kind. I actually researched especially for this blog. I have an interesting fact for you. So here goes:

Most annoying 'things' of 2007

Things that annoyed me last year....

To start off... there was that most annoying r&b track Umbrella by Rhianna and JayZ. I could not sit through that song without feeling queezy. And WHY, WHY, WHY did it have to be in the charts for MONTHS??? Someone up there *points up* doesn't like me. Bebo really pissed me off this year as well...feeling like you HAVE to pc4pc and whore4whore ALL the fricking time. You are pressuried into commenting on other peoples profile who you don't really like anyways. That wasn't too brill. Thirdly, there was the whole Britney Spears thing. It wasn't as much annoying as very unfair and rude of us to judge her and be so mean about her. Unfortunatly I will have to agree with Chris Crocker, LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!!!! He is definatly on the annoying list. It was so so sooo obvious that he made that video for his own interests, not Britneys. Just so everyone would know his name. Eh. What else annoyed me?? Ermmm, oh i know... TV advertisments. Grrh. They get worse, I swear!! Now there's singing, cheasy mottos, giant elephants, all sorts. Tragic, I know. Ah well, I'm guessing TV channels need to make money some how.

There are more, I can't think right now. Sorry.

New Year Resolutions:

-Very late, I know, but I came up with the before Jan 1st. Promise.

-1: Become a more beautiful person in the inside. (Don't bitch, don't annoy people, don't bite when other people annoy me, don't get upset all the time ect)

-2: Go to three gigs

-3: Do something exciting... forming a band would be ideal. And kinda awesome

-4: Start making a portfolio

-5: Don't keep a diary

-6: No more image obsessing

-8: Don't listen to depressing music.

Lacey Mosley, the lead singer of the Christian metal band Flyleaf, is my absolute idol, and there are so many reasons why I think she's a wonderful person. =].

There are few singers of today who are really passionate about what they sing and write about. Flyleaf's lyrics are powerful, written about real life experiences and subjects which they can relate to. In actual fact, anyone can relate to their songs. Their words [written mostly by Lacey] are generally about inner beauty and pain that real people have suffered yet they have stuck by their faith. I also admire that Lacey's faith in God managed to turn her life around. At Lacey's worst point in her life, she had suicidal tendancies and fallen into deep depression, feeling she had no purpose in life. Her life changed around the day her grandmother finally convinced her to go to church. There she had felt a supernatural connection which changed her life around completely. She soon filled any emptyness that she felt and formed the band Flyleaf. After years of self loathing and bitterness that Lacey felt, she managed to become a whole new person.

This made me realise that even if I don't see past college for myself just yet, or if i haven't found the one thing I'm good at right now, I know that something special will come my way, although I can't see it at the moment.

Oh, and Lacey Mosley is a very talented singer and great at screaming, =].

I was going through some old files today and stumbled on a picture of us. The picture won't show, unfortunately. Me, Lucy, Kerchene, Sian about 2/3 years ago. the club broke up on it's 2nd anniversary. Wow, we really did kick ass!!
